Biography:
Takashi Koga is an assistant professor, Information and Society Research Division, National Institute of Informatics, Tokyo, Japan. Prof. Koga has obtained a Bachelor of Law and a Master of Education from the University of Tokyo, and a Master of Library Science from Syracuse University in the United States. He worked as a cataloging intern at the Archives Library Information Center, National Archives and Records Administration in the United States from January to February in 2002. Prof. Koga’s research interest is policy issues concerning access to government information and basic theories of records management and recordkeeping. His articles about government information in Japan appear in Government Information Quarterly and Progress in Informatics.
