Graduated as a “Teacher” at the National Pedagogic University and “Classic Bachelor” at the “Presentación (Centro) School”. She made her university studies at the Department of Library Sciences and Archivist of the “La Salle” University in Bogotá (Colombia), where she got the degree of “Librarianship and Archivist”. Through the American States Organization she made a specialization in Archivist at the National University of Cordoba, Argentine. In 1994 she got the degree of Magister on “Teaching and Investigation” at the La Salle University and she got the degree of Magister in Management of documents and administration of archives at the International University Andalucía Spain. She has worked as educational in the Library Sciences and Archivist Faculty of the La Salle University since 1980, having under her responsibility chairs of Bibliotecology an Archivist. She also has given technical assistance in record management and organization of archives and libraries to official and particular organizations in Argentine, Bolivia, Colombia, Panama and Paraguay. Beside she is also a technical adviser of the Bogotá’s archives administration in Colombia. Currently she is a member of some professional associations as “Sociedad Colombiana de Archivistas” and she is a Corresponding Member of the History of the Magdalena Department academy. She is author of many writings and proceedings on her specialties.
