Dr Mphalane Makhura strated working as a teacher and later a librarian at Modjadji Colledge of Education and Tshwane University of Technology. He later joined South African National Parks (Kruger National Park) as Corporate Information and Records Manager. He is currently Records management specialist at Development Bank of Southern Africa. He holds Phd in Information Science from University of Johannesburg: South Africa. He specialized in records management from Masters to Phd level. His Master thesis focussed on Electronic Records Management within a service organization. Phd dissertation focused on the contribution of records management towards competitive performance of an organization. He published papers on records management in Mousaion, Esarbica Jouranls.
