Dr. Wang Liangcheng has published extensively including 6 books and some 20 articles. His latest works include Chinese Conservation and Mounting Techniques (2000), On Archives Information Construction ( 2001) , Electronic Records Management in China: Practice & Strategy (2001), Guidance to the Information Construction in Archives (2003) and Impact and Countermeasures of Natural Disasters on Archives: A Case Study in China (2005). He has got 7 Government Awards on Science & Technology, and was approved as a winner of special government allowance by the State Council in 2006.
He worked as a special assistant to Mr. Wang Gang, President of the International Council on Archives (ICA) from 1996-2000, and a member of the Program Committee of ICA from 2000-2004. He has been invited to give presentations to several international conferences and seminars including the 7th EASTICA Seminar on Electronic Archives Management Strategy (2000, Xiamen), the 14th SARBICA General Conference and Seminar (2004, Hanoi), and the 12th EASTICA Seminar on Vital Records Management and Disaster Planning (2005 Urumqi).
