Biography:

Born 23.06.1949 Graduated the Moscow State Institute for History and Archives.

Worked in the All-Union Research Institute for Documents and Archives (VNIIDAD), Institute of the History of the USSR, Branch of the History at the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, the Russian Center for Storing and Studying of Documents of the Modern History (RZHIDNI).

1996 became the head of the Federal Archival Service of Russia (since March, 2004 - Russian Federal Archival Agency).

Vladimir Kozlov - professor of history, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is an author of more than 250 scientific studies on the Russian history of 18-20 centuries.

 

Козлов В.П.Родился 23.06.1949 г. Окончил Московский государственный историко-архивный институт.

Работал во Всесоюзном научно-исследовательского институте документоведения и архивного дела, Институте истории СССР, Отделении истории Академии наук СССР, Российском центре хранения и изучения документов новейшей истории.

С 1992 года заместитель, а с 1996 года руководитель Федеральной архивной службы России (с марта 2004 года  -Федеральное архивное агентство).

Владимир Козлов - доктор исторических наук, член-корреспондент Российской академии наук. Он - автор свыше 250 научных трудов по истории России 18-20 веков.
