Paola Caroli est directrice des Archives d’Etat de Gênes (Ministère des biens et activités culturels), qui conservent les actes notariaux les plus anciens existants, et de l’Ecole d’archivistique, paléographie et diplomatique annexe, où elle enseigne archivistique générale. Elle travaille pour le Ministère des biens et activités culturels dès 1982. Présidente de la Section provisoire des Archives notariales (SAN). Paola Caroli is the Director of the State Archives of Genoa (Ministry of cultural heritage and activities) which keep the existing oldest notarial acts. She is also the headmaster of the School of archival, paleography and diplomatic annexed, where is teacher of archival science. She is officer of the Ministry of the cultural heritage and activities from 1982. President of the temporary Section of the notarial Archives ( SAN).
