Abstract:

In late 2006, The National Archives of Malaysia embarked on a project to implement an IT system for the preservation of digital archives. The system is built upon the Tessella Safe Deposit Box (SDB) technology from Tessella Support Services UK. The vendor implementing this system for The National Archives Malaysia is Solsis Berhad and Versapac Sdn Bhd. This is a joint-presentation between the National Archives of Malaysia and the project manager of Versapac Sdn Bhd on the experiences of implement such a system.
