Abstract:
The National Archives of Ghana have evolved considerably over the past two decades. This presentation will address changes introduced by the Records Management Improvement Programme from 1992-1999, and will evaluate the impact and sustainability of the project. In addition, it will explore the issue of governmental awareness of the importance of records as a strategic resource.
