The session by Peter Horsman focused on developing a new training methodology called Train the Trainers in Records Management (TTRM). Mr. Horsman emphasized a methodology based on problem solving strategies, which will allow it to be useful whatever the local environment may be. The TTRM Three Level Model consists of:

• Level 1 - Train the trainer framework

• Level 2 - Train the trainer course

• Level 3 – RM Course

The activities supported by the framework consist of creating a learning environment, developing a course, delivering a course and reviewing its effectiveness.

Peter Horsman said this methodology will contribute to developing local expertise and could also be the opportunity to build a professional network around the project.
