Now that the 16th International Council on Archives Congress in Kuala Lumpur has come to a close, the Flying Reporters wish to thank everyone who have made our work a success! This is the first time the ICA has implemented such a program to involve younger professionals in archives and records management, while at the same time engaging participants one-on-one, and those who could not attend the Congress via the website.

Although strangers at first, the Flying Reporters quickly formed a strong collegial and energetic team, and we are excited to expand our network of individuals in the archives and records management community beyond the confines of the Congress. Reporting and outreach during CITRA, Section and Branch meetings are a natural extension of the work of the Flying Reporters, but we also want to invite other interested professionals to join us.

Maintenant que le 16ème Conseil International des Archives à Kuala Lumpur est terminé, les reporters volants remercient chaleureusement tout celles et ceux qui ont contribué à son succès ! C’est la première fois que l’ICA a implémenté un programme intégrant des jeunes professionnels en archives et records management permettant également à ceux ne pouvant pas se déplacer d’être virtuellement connectés au Congrès via le site internet.

Bien que ne se connaissant pas au début, nous, reporters volants, avons tout de suite formé une équipe forte et énergique. Nous avons tous été heureux de pouvoir élargir nos réseaux professionnels aussi bien dans les coulisses que sur la scène du Congrès. Pouvoir rendre compte des réunions de sections, de branches ainsi que des conférences a été notre travail principal.
