The 16th ICA International Congress will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) from 21st July to 27th July 2008. Many exciting social programmes have been planned to ensure that all participants have the opportunity to enjoy Malaysian Culture.
Highlights of the Congress
The 16th International Congress on Archives is the leading global forum that brings together experts and professionals in archives, records management and other related professions. This memorable event will take place over seven days of intense programming comprising business meetings, seminars, workshops, paper presentations and sessions. Participants will also be able to explore new findings, works in progress, and practical solutions for issues facing archivists problems in its 38 exhibition [1] booths.
To mark this special occasion, the Prime Minister of Malaysia will be making a special appearance at the Opening Ceremony [2] of the Congress on 22nd July 2008. Do not miss the chance to experience Malaysian hospitality and its colorful culture.
A special congress library is provided for congress participants who choose to stay away and relax in between sessions.
