Biography:
Kim Eberhard a professional archivist working in with records of education and religion in Sydney. She holds a bachelor degree in Communications (Journalism and Public Relations) from the University of Technology, Sydney; and a Master of Information Management (Archives Administration) from the University of New South Wales. Kim has worked in the private sector for most of her archival career, with wide experience in recordkeeping and archival administration in business, Independent Schools and community organisations. She has also worked in Local Government and at State Records NSW. She is the co-author of the Records Retention Schedule for Non-Government Schools, and a contributing author to the Australian Society of Archivists (ASA) recent publication, Keeping Archives 3rd Edition. Kim has been a member of ASA Council since 2004, where she holds the Education portfolio; Kim also has a keen interest in international archival affairs, having attended the ICA Congress in Vienna, the European Conference on Archives in Warsaw in 2006, and CITRA in 2006 and 2007. Kim is currently the President of the Australian Society of Archivists.
