Eiríkur G. Gudmundsson has headed the IT-department in the National Archives of Iceland since 2001. His main project is preparation for receiveing electronic records for long-term preservation. He represents NAI in various fields of Nordic co-operative projects e.g. The Nordic Archives Day and is currently the editor-in-chief for Nordisk Arkivnyt, which is a magazine published by the Nordic State Arvhives.
